# clang, not GCC: the core's VCL property shim needs __declspec(property)
# (-fms-extensions), which GCC does not implement; CMakeLists.txt stops the
# configure step with any other compiler. clang is used for C too, so that
# every translation unit shares the same -fshort-wchar ABI.
# The linker is the default one (GNU ld): lld is only used by the Windows
# cross-build.
# python3: the build transforms the upstream tree (port/tools/transform.py).
# No perl: it is only for the bundled OpenSSL's Configure, and the package
# uses the system OpenSSL and expat.

Description: SFTP, SCP, FTP, WebDAV and S3 file-transfer client
linscp transfers files between your computer and remote servers over
SFTP, SCP, FTP (with TLS), WebDAV and S3. Its two-panel interface shows
local and remote files side by side, with the same sessions, settings and
 scripting on Linux and Windows.
 .
It synchronizes and compares directories, keeps a remote directory up to
date, edits remote files, and runs commands on the server.
 .
 A WinSCP equivalent for Linux.
